Pollonia crowds the shore of north east Milos, its peninsular reaching into the calm waters that seperate the island of Kimolos, seen here in the background, from Milos. The island is the birthplace, that is if a statue can have a birthplace, of the famous Venus de Milo who stands far from home in the Louve, Paris. Of course the sea is not always like this, so calm, as many sailors who ply the waters of the Aegean will tell you. However, this almost misty image says much about the magic of the Greek Islands.
